Why do I need to verify my account?

  • Your personal information is accurate and protected

  • You are not listed in EPIS (Belgium’s official exclusion system)

How can I verify my account?

You can verify instantly using itsme® — fast, secure, and fully automatic.
Or, if you prefer, you can also upload your identity document manually.

Steps for manual upload:

  1. Go to the “My documents” section in your account.

  2. Upload a clear photo or scan of your ID (both sides).

  3. Make sure all four corners are visible, with no blur or flash.

Which documents can I use?

You can verify your identity with:

  • itsme® (recommended)

  • Your Belgian ID card (eID) — front and back

  • A valid passport (for non-Belgian residents)

  • A residence permit (for foreign nationals living in Belgium)

  • A digital Belgian driving licence with expiration date ✔️

Paper driving licences are not accepted, as they do not contain the required legal data.

Your privacy matters

All documents are processed securely and confidentially, in full compliance with GDPR.
In rare cases, we may request additional documents (e.g., proof of address or source of funds) to satisfy anti-money laundering (AML) regulations.
