A bet is open, but the game is finished. When will it be calculated?

How settlement works
We settle your bet as soon as we receive the official result from our data providers and/or the competition organiser (league, federation, race director). This protects you against later changes.

Why it can take a little longer
Some events require extra checks before the result is official, for example:

  • VAR / video review, added time or extra time

  • Penalties / tie-breaks / extra innings

  • Photo-finish or steward inquiries (racing)

  • Stat corrections (goals/assists/cards reassigned)

  • Postponed / abandoned / suspended matches

  • Protests or appeals filed with the organiser

Typical timeframes

  • Most markets: within minutes of the official result

  • Special cases/manual review: usually within a few hours

  • Complex appeals: we wait for the organiser’s final decision

90 minutes vs. extra time & penalties
Unless the market says otherwise, Football “Match Result” settles on 90 minutes + injury time. Markets explicitly labelled “To Qualify” / “Lift the Trophy” consider extra time and/or penalties. Other sports follow their standard settlement rules (shown in market info).

Still open and the result looks final?
Give it a little time after the final whistle. If your bet is still open after a reasonable delay, email support@goldenpalace.be and include:

  • Bet ID (from your Wallet → Bets)

  • Event & market (e.g., “Match Result”, “Over 2.5 Goals”)

  • Date & time of the event

  • Optional: a screenshot of your bet slip or the event result

We’ll check the official feeds and settle as soon as confirmation is available.

Safe, fair, transparent — that’s GoldenPalace.
