A clear and well-framed photo helps us validate your account faster and keeps your information safe.
Follow these simple tips for a perfect upload or email submission:

Before you start

  • Use your smartphone or a recent camera for better image quality.

  • Clean the card’s surface to remove any dust or fingerprints.

  • Choose a neutral background such as a plain table or desk.

When taking the photo

  1. Take the photo in daylight

    • Natural light gives the best results.

    • Avoid dark rooms or strong artificial light.

  2. Make sure all four corners are visible

    • The card must be fully visible in the photo; no edges cut off.

  3. Avoid flash and reflections

    • Reflections can hide important details.

    • Disable flash and use indirect light instead.

  4. Lay the card flat and keep the photo sharp

    • Place the card on a stable surface.

    • Make sure text and photo are readable and in focus.

  5. Take both sides — front and back

    • Both sides are required for identity verification.

Selfie with your ID card

You’ll also need to take a selfie of yourself holding your ID card,
with both your face and the card clearly visible.
This step helps confirm that the document belongs to you.

How to send your photos

  • Upload your images in your account under “My Documents”, or send them by email to support@goldenpalace.be (secure and confidential).

  • Accepted formats: .jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf

  • Maximum size: 20 MB per file
