My winnings were lower than expected; how are odds and payouts calculated?

At GoldenPalace, every payout is calculated based on the final confirmed odds and the official result of your bet.
If your winnings appear lower than expected, there are a few common explanations.

1. One or more events in your combo bet were cancelled

If a match was cancelled, postponed, or voided, that selection is settled at odds of 1.00.
Your total payout is then recalculated based on the remaining active selections.
Example:
If you had a 3-leg combo and one match was void, your payout is calculated only on the two remaining matches.

2. Odds may have changed before confirmation

If the odds changed while you were placing the bet, the system automatically applied the final accepted odds at the time of confirmation.
You can always check this on your Bet Slip History.

3. Cash Out or partial settlement

If you used the Cash Out feature, your payout reflects the odds and event status at the moment of cash out, not the final result.

4. Rule adjustments for extra time or penalties

Some markets (for example “Match Result”) apply only to the regular time (90 minutes).
If your bet depended on extra time or penalties, it may not qualify under the standard market rule.

5. Bet recalculation after official result changes

If official authorities later adjust a result (for example due to disqualification, protest, or stat correction), the payout is updated accordingly.

If you’d like a detailed review, send an email to support@goldenpalace.be with your Bet ID and the event details.
